As CambridgeToday reported last month, Ward 7 councillor Scott Hamilton is pitching a unique plan to boost voter turnout on election days: offer free public transit to all city residents so they can get to the polls. His motion is scheduled to be heard at the May 17 council meeting.
Hamilton recently joined Inside the Village, a news podcast produced by Village Media, to discuss his proposal.
