NOVEMBER 22, 1960 – MARCH 4, 2024
It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Charmaine Margaret Daley on March 4, 2024, age 63, after a determined and courageous battle with cancer.
She passed peacefully with her husband by her side. Charmaine was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She moved with her family to Hespeler, Ontario before her second birthday. Her passions were deeply rooted in time spent with family and friends. She was proud of her gardens and enjoyed travelling. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years Terry, sons Tyler (Katie), Corey (Jessica) and Brendan. Loving Nana to Patrick. Survived by her parents Brendan and Marie Lahey, brothers Dean (Lise) and Dale (Trudy). Predeceased by in-laws Daniel and Rita Daley. Cremation has taken place.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650). A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory’s Church, 10 St. Gregory’s Drive, Cambridge. Reception to follow.
The family would like to thank all who cared for Charmaine over the past three years and in particular the ICU staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their care in her final days. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Cambridge Humane Society or the War Amps of Canada.
