APRIL 8, 1947 – MAY 7, 2023

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 7th at Innisfree House in his 76th year.

Dearly loved by his wife Deborah of 41 years. He will forever remain in the hearts of his children Leigh Anne Rose (Greg), Mitch Knowles (Robin) and Greg Dutton (Tamara). Loving Papa to Austin and Carter Knowles and Andrew Dutton. Survived by his brother Larry (Norma) Dutton, sisters Deborah Mayko and Darlene Smale. Rick will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Art and Vivian Dutton and his older brother Bob.

Born in Tillsonburg, Rick started his career in construction driving gravel trucks in his early & late years and mainly worked in sales, the balance of his life. He was quite the salesman. He was a Double Lung Transplant Survivor and enjoyed an extra 18 years for this gift of life he received in 2004.

Rick & his wife Deb spent many years following Nascar short track stock car racing in their motorhome. Once Rick had his transplant, he took up the game of golf. That became his passion. He achieved two hole in ones. Rick & Deb enjoyed getting out to golf. Winters were spent in Florida so golf continued all year long. They loved to dance so the dance floor felt like home to them. A fine glass of wine was always an enjoyment for Rick.

There will not be a funeral service as per Rick’s wishes. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Innisfree House, Kitchener or an Animal Recuse Shelter of your choice.
