With great sadness, her family announces that Pearl passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in her 83rd year.

She is reunited with her beloved husband, Joseph Albert Fler (2008) and her grandson Michael Grummett (2020). She was also predeceased by her siblings Peggy Bowes, "Chuck" Charles MacInnis, Neil MacInnis, Georgie Sheehan, Doreen McLean, and Donnie McInnis.

Dear mother of Janet Grummett and her husband Gerry of Wasaga Beach, Joe and his wife Paula of Cambridge, and Paul and his wife Tracy of North Dumfries.

Loving Grammie to Lindsay (Mason), Brooke (Richard), Levi (Lindsay), Dawson, Ellis, and Alia and proud Great-Grammie to Sophia, Maddison, and Mac as well as her extended family - grandchildren Johnny Berkach (Jane), Brandon Berkach (Courtney), and Chelsey Berkach (Roy) and great-grandchildren William, Charlie, Olivia, Thomas, Benjamin, Maverik, and Maxwell.

She is will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Mary Domianczuk (Gary) of Alberta, sisters in-law Helen McInnis of Sheffield, Cathy MacInnis of Cambridge, and Sheila MacInnis of Guelph, brothers in-law Jack Fler and his friend Diane of New Hamburg and Carl Fler and his wife Eleanor of Cambridge, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pearl was born in Kirkland Lake. She was a devoted member and volunteer of St. Clement’s Catholic Church. She made many, many rosaries for the First Communion Classes in the region.

Her family would like to thank her friends and neighbours, especially Bob, Kate, Mary, Ing, and Keo for their compassion, support, assistance, and friendship.

The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Monday, July 24th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Parish Prayers will be said at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement’s Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Clements Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
