MAY 3, 1941 – JULY 13, 2023

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we bid farewell to Edward (Ted) Robert Graham who passed peacefully on July 13th at the age of 82 at his cherished cottage in Georgian Bay, the place he loved the most, surrounded by family and his faithful dog Molly.

Ted was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. He was the son of the late Preston Graham and the late Mabel Graham, and brother to Barbara Peel. A loving husband of 60 years to Eleanor, devoted father to Suzanne (Jeffrey Flinn) and Sherilyn (David Delagran), and adored Papa to Alexandra, Kaitlin, Camden and Coulter.

Ted's life was a testament to determination and resilience. His dedication to hard work served as a beacon of inspiration for those who had the privilege of knowing him. A man of many skills and passions, Ted was equally at home behind the wheel of a truck as he was at the helm of a boat, or the reins of a horse.

He possessed an extraordinary talent for fixing anything that came his way, whether it was a broken engine, a leaky boat or a flooded generator. Ted's resourcefulness and willingness to lend a helping hand knew no bounds. His friends, family and strangers could always count on him to come to the rescue, armed with his trusty tool kit and infectious smile. The familiar mantra of “how did he do that?” followed in his wake.

Beyond his many accomplishments, Ted's greatest joy in life was his family. He was a pillar of love and support for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent together, creating lifelong memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

As we bid farewell to Ted, let us remember him for his unwavering generosity, patience, and his zest for life that will forever serve as a guiding light for all those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

Ted Graham, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May your spirit soar with the winds, may your stories be eternally treasured, and may your love continue to inspire us to live each day to its fullest, just as you did.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9th, from 1pm to 4pm at the Riverwalk Quarry House, 377 George Street North, Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Cambridge Humane Society.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.barthelfuneralhome.com for the Graham family.
