It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the bravest soul we've ever known. Kristopher James Moore-Power passed away in his home, surrounded by his family on May 15, 2022 after a courageous life long battle with a very rare neurogenetic disease called THOC2 Gene Mutation.
Kristopher was only 15 years old but his impact on this this world was astronomical! Every single person who met him or had a part in his short life has expressed how special Kristopher really was... Not just because of his rare condition but also because he was such a brave warrior, a stubborn soul who made everyone laugh with his dark humour and "punny" wit. He was a super hero in so many people's eyes and thanks to his strength and determination in this life, along with his constant medical investigations and biopsies, what took 9 year of poking and prodding for Kristopher to receive a proper diagnosis, has now allowed families all over the world to be able to have their children diagnosed at a much younger age with less medical trauma to endure... A true hero in every sense of the word.
Survived by his broken hearted parents Mom & Step Dad - Krista & Joe Power along with his Father & Step Mother Brad Moore & Mel Edworthy (& Maddy).
Kristopher will be dearly missed but never forgotten by his big Sister Erika & his nephews Tavin & Jasper, along with all his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents & of course his super special support puppy Nova the Panda Pug.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Kare4Kristopher fund linked below that will be used to assist his family with his end of life wishes for his cremated remains with any remaining proceeds to be used to create the future Kare4Kristopher Foundation being planned and started by his Mom Krista Power in Kristopher's honour to carry on her son's legacy.
