It is with profound sadness that the family of Adelino "Al" Pedro announce his passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer on February 8, 2024, at the age of 72 years.
Al will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 48 years, Margaret; his cherished children: John Pedro (Wendy) and Angela Macauley (Patrick); his adored grandchildren Autumn, Ethan, Liam, Hope, and Nate; his brother Tony; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Francisco and his parents Adelino Pedro de Medeiros and Maria Pedro de Medeiros.
Al was a devoted and hardworking family man. Al dedicated over 53 years of his life to Arriscraft International, formerly known as Angel Stone. He loved to spend time outside in his garage, restoring his cars or helping others with theirs. Al approached every challenge with a mindset that nothing was beyond repair, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and expertise with others.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Barthel’s Funeral Home located at 566 Queenston Rd, Cambridge, Ontario. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, at St. Clement’s Church, 745 Duke St, Cambridge, Ontario. Burial will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sara Hahn and the palliative care team, especially Benedetta, for their compassionate care during Al's illness.
In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al’s name to the Cancer Society of Canada or St. Clement’s Church, honoring his legacy of kindness and generosity.
