APRIL 25, 1951 – MARCH 13, 2024
Norbert Ruth of Cambridge sadly passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in his 73rd year at Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre. He was a wonderful dad, grandpa, and brother. He loved his family, all things nature, and building things from wood.
Norbert was preceded in death by his cherished mother Thelma (Dolly) Ruth, and father Ernest (Ernie) Ruth, by his brother Lawrence Ruth, and his sister Angela McDowell (nee Ruth).
Norbert leaves behind the mother of his children, Connie Ruth-Chamberlain, their son Jamie Ruth (Stephanie), their daughter Trina Elrick (Jason) and grandchildren Evan, Isabella, Mataya, Sydney, and Lincoln. Survived by his sisters Therese Ruth, Trish Ruth (Terry), and Shelley Hunt (nee Ruth). He will fondly be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend visitation Monday, March 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, ON N3H3J8. The memorial service will be open to all on Tuesday, March 19th at 1pm (welcome anytime after 12pm), followed by a celebration of life at the Newfoundland Club (1500 Dunbar Rd, Cambridge).
There will be an option to buy drinks at the Newfoundland Club for those that wish.
