Passed away peacefully at Hilltop Manor LTC, on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the age of 89.
Loving mother of Doris Elliott (Neil) and beloved Oma to Terryn Conway (Jeremy), Vanessa Pyke (Phil), and Natalie Elliott, and Great-Oma to Molly, Casey, Gabby, and Ben. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Hans (Brunhilde) in Germany. She is now reunited with her husband Frederick (1999).
Lore immigrated to Canada at the age of 20. She worked as an Industrial Sewer at Buller Buff, Cambridge Shoes, and Woolley Shoes. She always put others first and had a strong work ethic.
The family wish to thank the staff of Hilltop Manor for their compassionate care.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 1 – 1:30 p.m. The Memorial Service to celebrate her life will follow in the Coutts Chapel at 2 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
