AUGUST 5, 1944 – DECEMBER 1, 2022
Stanislav "Stan" Zak of Cambridge, Ontario passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 78 years old.
Much loved father of Dan and Andrea (Greg) Kraus. Much, much loved grandfather of Zakery, the late Ruby, and Molly. Predeceased by his parents Eduard and Ludmila and his sisters Jarmila (Jan) and Marie (Vladislav). Will be surely missed by many family members in Pstruzi, Czech Republic - Vera (Milan), Marie (Vlastimil), Vlastimil (Marta), Marcela (Jan), Jarmila (Frantisek), Vladislav (Irena), plus many great nieces and nephews.
Stan will be remembered for his boisterous laugh, his interesting sense of humour, his love of cooking and food, listening to Czech music, his love of travel, and being incredibly punctual (or too early) for everything.
Stan's family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road on Sunday, December 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, food and drink will be served.
