In a news release, Waterloo Regional Police Service said its investigators have now charged De-Gannes with multiple offences, including:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Aggravated assault
  • Robbery with violence
  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (two counts)
  • Disguise with intent
  • Mischief under $5,000

The accused has been detained in custody.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and De-Gannes is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
