Waterloo Regional Police say they have charged a male wanted for several criminal offences, including two robberies.
Police previously said they were searching for a suspect known to frequent Cambridge.
Police now say Adam De-Gannes, 29, was arrested by the Brantford Police Service as part of an unrelated investigation.
In a news release, Waterloo Regional Police Service said its investigators have now charged De-Gannes with multiple offences, including:
- Assault with a weapon
- Aggravated assault
- Robbery with violence
- Robbery with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (two counts)
- Disguise with intent
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused has been detained in custody.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and De-Gannes is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
