Cambridge driver found with open liquor in vehicle after crash

A 67-year-old Cambridge man is facing several charges following a July 10 collision in Puslinch Township where police say they found open liquor in the vehicle.

At around 9:30 p.m. that day, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at Wellington Road 34 and Townline Road, Puslinch. 

As a result of the investigation, the driver has been charged with Dangerous Operation, Impaired Operation, and with Operation while Impaired -B.A.C. (80 Plus) and with Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor. 

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on August 1.
