GUELPH – A Cambridge man faces charges including committing an indecent act after a maintenance person was caught on video lying on a client’s bed and undoing his pants.

The afternoon of April 7, a maintenance person attended an address in the Exhibition Park area to repair a plumbing issue. Once inside the home he looked in the fridge before attending the homeowner’s bedroom. He removed personal lubrication from a bedside table and lay down on the bed.

He was unaware of several surveillance cameras inside the home, including one in the bedroom. The homeowner activated the voice feature on the camera and asked him to leave. The male quickly stood up and appeared to be pulling up his pants.

A 22-year-old Cambridge man was arrested Wednesday by Guelph police. He is charged with committing an indecent act, mischief to property and being unlawfully in a dwelling.
