Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest in connection with a gun incident in Cambridge.
On June 13, 2023, at approximately 5:30 a.m., an unloaded firearm was located in the area of Ainslie Street South. As a result of the investigation, on June 17, police arrested a 31-year-old Cambridge male who has been charged with:
- Carry concealed weapon
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Careless storage
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Tampered serial number
- Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order (five counts)
The male was held for a bail hearing.
