Cambridge man charged after multi-vehicle collision in Perth East

A 48-year-old Cambridge resident is facing a careless driving charge

Perth OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles near a railway in Perth East. 

Perth East Fire Department and the Canadian National Railway also helped with response on Monday before 8 a.m., in the area of Perth Road 107, south of Shakespeare. 

The collision involved a passenger vehicle and two commercial vehicles. No injuries were reported. The Spills Action Centre was alerted due to a spill of diesel fuel. The road was closed for cleanup, and removal of the vehicles from the road and railway but has since re-opened. 

A 48-year-old Cambridge resident is facing a careless driving charge as a result of the collision.
