Police say a young woman from Cambridge who had a baby in her car has been charged with impaired driving after the vehicle crashed in Toronto.

The single vehicle collision took place at the Queen Elizabeth Way and Evans Avenue, according to the OPP.

A female, 25, has been charged with impaired driving, the OPP Highway Safety Division posted just after 6:30 a.m. on X.

Police said a six-week-old child was also located in the vehicle.

"Fortunately, there were no injuries to involved parties," police said, and included the hashtag #dontdrinkanddrive
