Cambridge youth suffers stab wound during altercation: Police

Police say a youth from Kitchener was also shot in the arm with a replica firearm; the investigation is ongoing

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a disturbance incident Cambridge.

On Sept. 5, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to the area of King Street East and Argyle Street North for a report of a disturbance.

Through the initial investigation, it was determined that a group of individuals were involved in a physical altercation. As a result of the altercation, a male youth from Cambridge suffered a stab wound and a second male youth from Kitchener had been shot with a replica firearm.

Both youths were transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.
