Car stolen in Cambridge involved in 2 Kitchener thefts: WRPS

In the second incident, one of the suspects threatened the convenience store employee with a knife and stole merchandise, police say

The Waterloo Regional Police is looking for suspects who allegedly used a stolen vehicle from Cambridge in a theft and robbery in Kitchener. 

On April 1, around 1 a.m., police say they received a report of a black Honda Civic stolen from the area of Christopher Drive and Ironstone Drive in Cambridge.

Later that day, the stolen vehicle was involved in a gas theft at a gas station on Homer Watson Boulevard in Kitchener, according to police.

Then around 4:45 a.m., the driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle drove to a convenience store in the area of Lorraine Avenue and Lackner Boulevard. It was reported that one of the suspects entered the store, threatened the employee with a knife and stole merchandise. The suspects then fled the area in the stolen Honda towards Stanley Park, according to police. 

Both accused were described as white males wearing dark clothing.

The investigation is ongoing.
