Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store in Cambridge in the early morning hours in which they say a knife was brandished.
On Sept. 20 at around 2:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a store robbery in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Jamieson Parkway.
Investigating officers learned that a male entered the store holding a knife and demanded cash from an employee.
The employee did not sustain any physical injuries, police said in a news release.
The suspect was described as a male wearing all black clothing and a black balaclava.
