Waterloo regional police are investigating after a person-on-person robbery in Cambridge that happened early this morning.
On December 21, 2023, at approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to the area of Stewart Avenue and East Street for a report of a robbery.
The victim, a Cambridge youth, was biking in the area when they were approached by two unknown males. The victim was assaulted and was robbed of their motorized mini bike.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries as a result of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
