Motorcyclist taken to hospital following North Dumfries crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to an out-of-region hospital following a crash in North Dumfries Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Spragues Road and Greenfield Road just after 7 p.m.

Waterloo Regional Police believe a Suzuki motorcycle was heading east along Spragues Road when it collided with a grey Ford that was travelling west. 

A 35-year-old Kitchener man was ejected from the motorcycle. His injuries are described as serious but non-life-threatening.

Police are still investigating but say charges are anticipated. 

They are asking witnesses or anyone with dash camera video footage to call the Traffic Services Unit at 519-570-9777 extension 8856.
