No injuries after car slams into Galt apartment building

Residents displaced while structural integrity of building assessed

Police responded to the Christopher-Champlain neighbourhood of Cambridge after a vehicle struck an apartment building last evening.

Residents of an apartment building on Christopher Driver were displaced overnight after a car slammed into side of the building around 8 p.m.

Waterloo regional police from South Division responded to the accident near Christopher Drive and Champlain Boulevard.

Police said a youth driver, operating a motor vehicle on private property, struck the building after losing control of the vehicle.

There were no physical injuries sustained as a result of this collision.

Residents were displaced overnight for the removal of the vehicle and to assess the structural safety of the building.

No charges have been laid.
