The Ontario Provincial Police stopped an Oakville man early Tuesday morning on Highway 8 southbound Tuesday morning.
The 20-year-old has been charged with stunt driving after police clocked the vehicle on radar going 178 km/h in Kitchener.
The driver also had their vehicle impounded for 14 days and their licence suspended for 30 days.
