Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested the suspect in connection with a Kitchener homicide after a 47-year-old man from Cambridge was shot at a Kitchener residence.
On Dec. 21, police located the suspect in the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road West in Kitchener; he was arrested and taken into custody following 'high-risk takedown,' police say.
A 22-year-old Kitchener male is now facing second degree murder and other firearm offences.
The male will remain in custody awaiting the bail hearing taking place on Dec. 22.
The investigation is ongoing.
