Assault in Cambridge:

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an assault incident.

On Sunday, July 18, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., a female was walking near the kid's play area on Northview Heights Trail, south of Elgin Street North in Cambridge, when she was approached and assaulted by an unknown male.

The male has been described as Black, approximately 5’ 9” tall, with a muscular build, braids just below his ears in length.

Assault in Waterloo:

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an assault that occurred on University Avenue in Waterloo.

On July 23, 2021, shortly after midnight, police responded to the area for reports of a disturbance.

A group of individuals were involved in an altercation. As a result, the victim, an adult male was cut with a knife and sustained minor injuries.
