Police investigating collision in North Dumfries

Police say the driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit (TSU) are investigating a collision in the Township of North Dumfries.

On June 14, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a single motor vehicle collision on Blair Road.

Through the initial investigation, police determined that the 62-year-old female driver left the roadway and struck a pole.

The female was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Blair Road was closed for several hours while crews repaired the damage pole. The roads have since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing by the Traffic Services Unit.
