Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a stabbing incident in Cambridge.
On July 1, 2021, at approximately 4:35 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Ballantyne Avenue in Cambridge.
Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from stab wounds. The male was transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. The male remains in hospital in stable condition.
A male was arrested for probation-related offences.
The parties are believed to be known to each other, and there is no threat to public safety.
