Waterloo Regional Police’s General Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate a person-on-person robbery in Kitchener.

On March 15, 2024, at approximately 1:05 a.m., police responded to the area of Victoria Street North and Natchez Road for a report of a robbery.

Police learned that the male victim exited a licenced establishment when he was approached by two unknown male suspects and assaulted. The suspects then stole the victim’s vehicle from the parking lot and fled the area.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries as a result of the incident.

Officers recovered the stolen vehicle in the area of Grand Ridge Drive and Sullivan Court in Cambridge.

Both male suspects were described as white, early 20’s, with a thin build.

This investigation is ongoing by WRPS' General Investigations Unit.
