Waterloo Police, RCMP responded to Trudeau protest in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police, with the assistance of members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, responded to a protest that occurred in the area of Lindsay Road in Cambridge. 

On Aug. 29, 2021, at approximately 11 a.m., police responded to a protest of approximately 150 to 200 people in relation to a planned event by the Prime Minister's office. 

During the protest, an individual was removed from the property for trespassing, however, no arrests or charges were laid in connection to the incident.
