Woman grabbed stroller with child in it, police say

Waterloo Regional Police say they are investigating a report of a "suspicious person" at Riverside Park in Cambridge. 

On July 1 at around 11:10 p.m., an unknown female was observed grabbing a stroller with a young child inside. 

The female was confronted by a parent and fled the area, police said in a news release.

The suspect has been described as an East Asian female in her 40s, approximately 5'4" tall, with a thin build, black hair in a ponytail, and wearing a green sweater and blue jeans. 

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
