CambridgeToday delivers Random Act of Kindness surprise to a selfless community member

We thank Paula Warren for providing her own acts of kindness to the Cambridge area

Through countless initiatives, Paula Warren acts to combat struggles in the Cambridge area for over 30 years.

Whether she is volunteering her time at senior centres, running 50/50 draws, or donating items to local organizations, Warren is always looking for ways to help.

“Paula is the first to provide community members with a helping hand,” said nominator, Frankie Small. “She is known for going above and beyond.”

“I call her an earth angel,” said Small.

Warren hosts 50/50 draws to raise money raised for individuals and organizations in the community.

With the money raised from the draws, Warren purchases gift cards, food, clothes and hospital supplies for community members and organizations in need.

Her kindness does not stop there.

Back in September, Warren donated 30,000 snacks to four local schools supporting their nutrition programs.

“Knowing what it is like coming from hard times, that makes you want to help more,” said Warren.

CambridgeToday was pleased to surprise Paula Warren with a Random Act of Kindness.

Our team surprised Paula with a luxurious spa package to show our thanks and gratitude for her positive impact on our community.

“I can’t believe someone took time out of their day to think of me and honour me. Even though I do it for nothing, I do really appreciate it,” Paula told CambridgeToday.

Thank you to our generous sponsor, The Spa Cambridge, for making this Random Act of Kindness possible.

If you know someone deserving of a Random Act of Kindness, our nomination form is always open for new submissions.
