The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a new job portal that will further support job seekers and businesses in Waterloo Region.
The portal can be accessed on the chamber's website and is another tool to search and apply for jobs in a variety of sectors.
“The portal is a great tool for our members to use to help fill those job gaps since many businesses in all sectors are in need of more employees,” Greg Durocher, president and CEO of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce said.
“Providing as many opportunities as possible for local employers to find the help they require is a benefit to our business community as a whole and we’re glad to be able to offer this service.”
Chamber members will be able upload and manage their own job postings as they try to fill labour shortages.
According to Statistics Canada, there were just over 37,000 vacant positions in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Barrie economic region as of December 2022.
