Helen Rose Ash. Born in Normandy Township, passed away at home on Wednesday May 5, 2021 in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of Keith for 57 years who predeceased her in 2008. Dearest mother of Ken Ash (Paulette) and Sus Hucsko (John). Loving grandmother of Sarah (Jeremy) Dunphy, Nathan (Alicia) Hucsko, David (Bethany) Hucsko, Richard Lawrence and great grandmother of Eamon, Logan, Noah, Adaline, Dani, Wyatt and Summer. Survived by her loving sisters Eileen King and Violet Agnew. Predeceased by her parents Christoph and Katie Kaufman and sisters Lavina Ray and Wilhelmina Cupples. Helen was employed at Sears Canada for 30 years and after retiring enjoyed travelling, theatre, lunches with her sisters and special friends , trips to the casino and was an accomplished knitter and gardener. Mom claimed her strong witted mind was a result of her daily commitment to word search puzzles. She was a very active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and will be truly missed. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Stephen Weber. Arrangements by Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge, ON.
