It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Gwen Dickie on Thursday, December 22nd.
She will be missed immensely by her children Ryan O’Connor (Kathleen Sou) and Whitnee Roncato (Michael Roncato). Treasured Grandmother of Carter and Vaeda, and dear sister to Liz, Jayne, Fred and Genny. Predeceased by her parents Dalton and Shirley Dickie (Manion) and siblings Mary Ann and Joseph.
Gwen will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, friends, former colleagues as well as fellow volunteers. Warm, welcoming and understanding was Mom; and whether you knew her as Brown Owl, Queeny or just Gwen, few could deny the influence she had on those around her.
Special thanks to the incredible staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for all that you do. And the deepest regards to those who paid tribute to our mother recently.
A Celebration of Gwen’s Life will be held at a later date, family and friends will be notified.
