Lillian Rose February was born March 13, 1942 in Prairie River Sask. and died September 5, 2022. She was the youngest of 6 children of Helen and Frank February.

She lived on the family farm in Porcupine Plains Sask., until the age of seven, when the family moved to Kenora, Ont.

After completing both elementary and high school in Kenora, Lillian moved to Port Arthur, Ont. (Thunder Bay) to study nursing at Port Arthur General Hospital. She graduated as a registered Nurse in 1963 and continued to work at PAGH for a short time.

Lillian then travelled and worked in various cities including Kenora, Burlington, London Ont. And Victoria B.C., Toronto (TWH), Von Lansing Retirement Residence until her retirement.

Lillian’s deepest passion was her pets.

Lillian enjoyed travelling and visited many of the Caribbean Islands, Britain, Europe, Scotland, Spain, Portugal and Florida.

She enjoyed curling and watching sports on TV. On moving to Cambridge (Galt) she spent time at the Galt Curling Club.

Lillian was member of the First United Church and then Wesley United Church.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents Frank and Helen February, sisters Viola Dika, Isabelle and Elizabeth Longe (Twins), and brother Julius. She will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Lee, Marion Piotrowski, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousin Joyce Hertz.

There will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place in Kenora, Ont. At a later date.

Donations in memory may be made to Medical Day Care – Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Wesley United Church, Cambridge and Innisfree House, Kitchener.
