Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on March 24, 2022 at the age of 79.
Was the Mum of Donna Seegers, Dr. Christina Grant, Trevor Grant (Melissa), Dr. Philip Grant (Donya), and Kenneth Grant (Camilla). Also survived by her Grandchildren: Miranda Seegers (Josh), Sandy Seegers, Aja Thompson, and Aaron Grant. Great-Grandchildren: Hannah Grant, Jazzy Grant, Jordan Lindhorst, Ethan Lindhorst and Brooklyn Seegers Boles.
Dr. Grant received the C.I.D.A. research award in education for Africa in 1988. Her book "Planned Teaching", was published by Longmans Zimbabwe. She has also illustrated a children's book, "All Blue". Grant has achieved fine art painting exhibitions, published educational texts and manuals, implemented innovative research methods, and established a post modern ministry.
Dr. Grant retired from ministry in 2006 and continued her art practice. She was elected to the society of Canadian Artists in 2012. Her work was featured in several juried shows at Cambridge Art Centre.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wesley United Church, 6 Cambirdge Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with refreshments to follow.
