JENNINGS, Willis "Guy"

JULY 31, 1953 – APRIL 7, 2022

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at PeopleCare Hilltop Manor in his 69th year. Guy is the beloved father to Jessica (Michael Surdykowski), Travis, Cheyenne and step-father to Michelle, Candice and Darrell. Proud Papa to Addison and Jacob and dear brother to Verna Mitchell and Linda Fields. He is predeceased by his siblings: Frank, Joy and Valerie. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his extended family and many friends.

Guy was born in Toronto, Ontario, the youngest of 6 children born to Sophie Ann and Willis "James" Jennings. He was the baby of the family and was well taken care of by his older siblings. They grew up in Toronto on Gilbert Avenue after which they relocated to Preston, Ontario. Guy placed his roots firmly there and Cambridge truly became his home. His love for music shined through in everything he did. From owning a music store in Cambridge, to hosting karaoke nights around town, he made sure everyone around him knew the magic that music held.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 12 - 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Anyone unable to attend is welcome to view a live stream of the service by visiting www.couttsfuneralhome.com at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow and Guy will be laid to rest at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Guy's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be gratefully appreciated.
