With great sadness, Joan's family announce her passing at Blackadar Continuing Care Centre in Dundas, on Wednesday May 4, 2022 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her second husband Jim Labram, Joan is the beloved mother of Stephen Peirce (Bonnie) and Nancy Gaulton (James). Cherished memories are left with her grandchildren; Rob Peirce (Megan), Warren Peirce (Sara), Will Peirce (Hope), and her great grandchildren; Bailey, Logan, Hannah, Clara and Isla. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Lois Olmsted (the late Jim) and Norma Pryde (Richard). Heartfelt thank you to Frances Wood and Blackadar Continuing Care Centre for their loving care. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.
Joan's family will receive friends and relatives at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Monday, May 9th from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will be in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm, followed by burial at Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the charity of one's choice are greatly appreciated.
