DECEMBER 18, 1931 – SEPTEMBER 15, 2021
With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Kenneth George Laird passed away at home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 89.
Ken was an avid gardener and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. He was also a dedicated fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and loved to read. Ken will be deeply missed by his wife Ruta, children Sharon, Darrell, Kevin (Tracy), and Angie (Trevor), 11 grandchildren, and his sisters Joan, Mary, and Lynn. Ken was predeceased by his parents Iris and Linton Laird, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. As per Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cambridge & District Humane Society or the Preston Legion Branch #126 would be appreciated.
