JANUARY 29, 1936 – FEBRUARY 7, 2023
Peacefully passed away, with family by her side, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in her 88th year.
She is reunited with her beloved husband, Murray McBain (2011). Loving mother of Daryll (Lee), Diane, and Denise (Mark). Proud grandmother of Emily, Jaimee, Oliviea, Matthew, and Kristi. Isobel is also predeceased by her parents W. Reid Clemens and Mary Clemens and her siblings Lloyd, Eddie, Glen, and Velma. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Isobel and her family share many happy memories growing up in Hespeler; she was a lifelong resident of Cambridge. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Leafs and Blue Jays, knitting, being in the water, and most of all – spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Isobel was her family’s number one fan and she was there for everything they did.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life service will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. with visitation taking place one before the start of the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lisaard House Hospice in Isobel’s memory would be appreciated by her family.
