MARCH 19, 1981 – JANUARY 29, 2022
Jason Mitchell McEachern passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home in Cambridge in his 41st year. He is survived by his parents, Walter and Beth, siblings Becky (Eric) and Casey as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, uncles Reid and Scott and cousins Mandy and Laura.
Jason enjoyed watching sports on television, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays, movies, true crime novels, and spending time with friends and family engaging in good conversation. He was also especially fond of the family pets, Zoey and Molly.
The family wishes to thank the Cambridge Fire Department, Waterloo Regional Paramedics and the Waterloo Regional Police for their care, skill and compassion during this exceptionally difficult time.
At Christmas, Jason told his family that he had everything he needed and to take the money that they would have spent on presents and donate it to a charity that benefits cancer or heart disease. Keeping with the spirit of that request, the family encourages you to make a charitable donation of your choice benefitting these two causes.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral will take place at a later date.
