NOVEMBER 10, 1980 – JANUARY 30, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina on Sunday, January 30, 2022 much too soon at the age of 41. Christina passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by all the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer, she fought hard right until the end.

She shares two beautiful daughters, Breanna Bairos and Erika Bairos with Jose Bairos. Beloved mother to her fur-baby Toby. Cherished daughter to Berta and Manuel Pereira. Dear sister to Arthur and wife Tammy Pereira and Margie Bairos. Girlfriend of John Martins. Special aunt to Brooklyn, Chase and many more. Christina will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends, and special family on the Islands.

Anyone who knows Christina knows how pure her soul was. She loved everyone she ever met unconditionally. She was the most selfless person putting everyone’s needs before her own. She was always so positive no matter the situation. Even in the darkest of times, she made sure we were all okay. Stuck on what she was leaving behind knowing the journey she had ahead of her. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Her energy filled any room she walked in, her smiled lifted your spirit and her laugh was so contagious. A real life angel walking this earth we can be at peace knowing her soul is genuine and returned straight home. Like she said every day until her last. “I will always be here remember that 💋 xoxo.”

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, February 4th, 2022 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Those wishing to attend will need to register in advance by clicking https://signup.com/go/injrowd. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Clements Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge followed by cremation. There will be a memory box if anyone would like to leave a chapter of her life with the family. There will also be scarp book paper that you are welcome to take, fill a page and return when finished to the family. In honour of my momma I would like all her memories kept together and remembered forever.
