FEBRUARY 15, 1928 – JANUARY 13, 2022
Mildred Wilflin passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in her 94th year.
Millie was loving and kind, but also strong and self-assured. She enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook. She spent many years working as a baker for the famous Pioneer BBQ. Millie also loved England, and cherished every trip she was able to take there to visit with her family and friends. Millie was predeceased by her husband Bill Wilflin, and her children Linda Ann Dennis (previously Fitzpatrick) and Michael Wilflin. She is survived by her grandchildren Bill Roberts, Melissa Rego (Eddie), and Dawn Wilflin, great-grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Darryl, and Heather, and great-great-grandchildren Katalina, Evan, and Aliva. Remembered fondly by her niece Gwen and husband Sanford, her dear friend Judy Clarke, her fellow residents and the caring staff at Doon Retirement Village, where Millie made a happy home, and more extended family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.
