Attempted robbery on Cambridge path results in minor injury

Police say a woman suffered a minor injury after a man approached her on a path in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Dundas Street South and attempted to rob her.

The incident happened last Friday around 5:30 p.m.

Through investigation, Waterloo regional police learned the victim was walking on a path when an unknown male attempted to steal a personal item from the victim and grabbed her arm in the process.

The investigation is ongoing by members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing South Division.
