MAY 18, 1932 – MARCH 24, 2023

With family by his side, passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge on Friday, March 24, 2023 in his 90th year. He is reunited with his beloved wife Beverly, his grandson Michael and his siblings, Joseph, Stanley, George, Helen, Harry, Peter, John and Frank. Loving father of Bonnie (Peter) Domonchuk, Cherished grandfather “papa” of Nicole (Vince), Michelle (Kyle) and Danielle (Greg). Proud great-grandfather of Ava, Max, Sophie, Laine, Julia, Jack and Lillie. Paul is survived by his sister; Marilyn Miller. His absence will leave a deep void for all who knew and loved him.

Paul spent time at General Tower (Galt), where he met and married his wife. He also worked at Wagg Shoe (Preston) and spent time apprenticing with his father-in law as an “oiler” at Dumfries Construction, before trying his luck out west. Paul worked for Pemrow Pipeline (Burlington) as foreman, was a part-owner of Waynco construction and finished his pipeline career with Coolsaet Construction in 1998.

In his younger years he loved to ride motorcycles, enjoyed curling, had a passion for golf, trips to his winter home in Florida and he was an avid Blue Jays fan! Family was always very important to him, he was the go to fellow, and his love was unconditional, regardless of your age.

Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St Andrews St., Cambridge on Thursday, March 30th from 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. & Friday, March 31st from 10:30-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 31st at 11 a.m. For those unable to attend, the service will be available virtually (livestreamed). Interment will take place at Mount View Cemetery with a reception to follow back at the funeral home.

Special thanks to all the caregivers at Riverbend Retirement; who became our extended family, the ParaMed team and the staff at Lisaard House for their compassionate care during the final days.

In Paul’s memory, donations to the SI Cambridge Trust or a charity of your choice would be welcomed by the family and may be shared through the funeral home at www.couttsfuneralhome.com.
