MAY 5, 1962 – JUNE 6, 2023
Slipped away peacefully, with his wife by his side, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at the age of 61.
Beloved husband and partner of Brenda (nee Dwyer) for 15 years. Loving father and step-father of Matthew (Allison), Joshua (Jess), Gerald, Stanley (Nannette), Lawrence (Chrissy), William, Shaun (Bobby-Jo), and Michael. Proud Poppa to Kenna, Jackson, Shannon, and Jocelynn. He will also be missed by his sister Sherry, brothers Ron and George, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Mary Parsons and his brothers Michael and Bill.
Wayne loved watching baseball and hockey, depending on the season. His favourite teams were the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved sitting on the couch with his grandchildren, all of them with their jerseys on, to watch the games.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take at a later date with family.
