JULY 19, 1939 – FEBRUARY 17, 2023
Passed away peacefully, on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 84th year.
She is now reunited with her 'darling love' Barry Scrimgeour (2016). She is survived by her stepdaughter Kimberly Aucoin (Richard) and stepson Cameron Scrimgeour (Paula). Oma to Kylie, Josh, and Galen. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother Kent McDermid (Betty, Sister-in-law Penny Scrimgeour (Rob), and many other relatives, friends, and neighbours.
Marilyn would like to thank all her relatives, neighbours, friends, and caregivers for their support; she couldn't have made it without them.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Please wear casual attire as requested by Marilyn. Donations in Marilyn's memory to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
